Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, you’ll be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a brief city tour featuring the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, dramatically perched over the Atlantic Ocean. A stroll along the scenic Corniche or a visit to the vibrant central market gives you a glimpse into the city’s modern energy and historic charm. Relax and prepare for your journey southward the following day.

Day 2: Casablanca → Marrakech

After breakfast, depart Casablanca for the drive to Marrakech, the “Red City.” Upon arrival, check into your traditional riad nestled within the ancient medina. The afternoon is yours to enjoy: explore the souks, admire the architecture of Bab Agnaou, or grab a fresh orange juice in the bustling Jemaa el-Fnaa square. As the sun sets, the square transforms into an open-air theater filled with snake charmers, storytellers, and sizzling food stalls. Dinner on a rooftop terrace is a must.

Day 3: Full-Day Guided Tour of Marrakech

Today you’ll dive into the cultural heart of Marrakech with a licensed local guide. Visit the Bahia Palace, a 19th-century masterpiece of Moroccan craftsmanship, and the Saadian Tombs, hidden for centuries and beautifully restored. You’ll also explore the Koutoubia Mosque, the city’s most iconic landmark, and walk through the intricate souks where artisans still practice centuries-old trades. End your tour with a visit to the peaceful Majorelle Garden, once owned by Yves Saint Laurent, with its striking blue pavilions and exotic plants. Return to your riad to relax or enjoy a hammam experience in the evening.

Day 4: Day Trip to Essaouira

Set off for a full-day excursion to the charming coastal town of Essaouira, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The 2.5-hour drive offers scenic views and perhaps a stop at an argan oil cooperative along the way. Once in Essaouira, enjoy the laid-back vibe as you stroll through the medina, walk along the Skala fortress walls, or watch the colorful fishing boats in the harbor. Savor fresh seafood by the ocean and explore the town’s artisan shops known for woodwork and jewelry. Return to Marrakech in the evening, refreshed by the sea breeze.

Day 5: Day Trip to Imlil Valley (High Atlas Mountains)

Today, escape to the Imlil Valley, a peaceful Berber village nestled in the High Atlas Mountains, about 90 minutes from Marrakech. Your guide will lead you on a light hike through walnut groves, terraced fields, and waterfalls, offering panoramic views of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. Visit a traditional Berber home for tea and learn about rural life in the mountains. This day is perfect for travelers seeking nature, authenticity, and a slower pace. Return to Marrakech in the afternoon for your final evening in the city.

Day 6: Marrakech → Casablanca (Departure)

After breakfast, depart Marrakech and return to Casablanca via a comfortable 3-hour drive. Depending on your flight schedule, you may enjoy a final visit to a local café, shop for last-minute souvenirs, or take in a last view of the Atlantic before your transfer to Mohammed V International Airport for your departure. Your journey ends, but the memories of Marrakech’s colors, Essaouira’s ocean breeze, and the High Atlas air will stay with you long after you return home.
